We have been in the business
for generations
While bona is relatively new to the world, our experience producing olive oil spans three generations. The team is George Bennell, co-founder of Belazu (exited 2018), and Fynn Bennell, a qualified olive oil sommelier with a background in sustainable food production.
Bona exists as in the past far too often the olive oil we were consuming had been exposed to the elements for too long, and was not the quality oil it once was. It is so easy for good olive oil to turn bad with exposure to light and oxygen, we set out to stop this.
Our solution, a vacuum sealed pouch of organic extra virgin olive oil contained in a wooden dispenser. The result, recognised unbeatable freshness, flavour, and nutritional content.

Can I change my order frequency?
Yes - go to the account button in the top left. Once there press profile (top left) > Manage Subscription > See More Details > Edit Frequency. Here you can also manage other areas of your subscription such as address changes / pausing.
What is the benefit of a pouch?
Packaging oil in a vacuum sealed pouch ensures that there is no contact with oxygen or light. This ensures that the two primary factors in the degradation of olive oil (oxidation & photo oxidation) do not occur. They also have 9x smaller carbon footprint than a glass bottle.
Do you ship to Europe / the US?
At the moment we only offer shipping to the UK and Northern Ireland.
